Greetings, everyone. I’m Chris Tehuti. I’m a shamanic practitioner, as well as an artist and animator with over 20 years of experience. My journey

has taken me from 30 years of traditional meditation in the Vajrayana Tibetan Buddhist tradition into the shamanic path.

In 2021, I had the privilege of meeting a wonderful mentor and teacher, Star Weaver (Karen Edwards), who introduced me to the Medicine Wheel

in the Peruvian Q’ero tradition. I went on to complete the full Andean Medicine Wheel, journeying through the four directions and the many initiations that mirror the path of transformation. Along this path,

I became a mesa carrier, entrusted with the sacred healing bundle,

a living altar that connects Heaven, Earth, and the unseen realms.

The Medicine Wheel has profoundly deepened my connection to myself,

to healing, and to spiritual wisdom. It has also opened a doorway into

the healing potential of my art and inner perception.

As I continued along this path, I began experiencing vivid dreams connected to Ancient Egypt. I saw visions of pyramids, sacred geometry, and a lion standing regally before them. Despite having no particular

prior interest in Egypt, these experiences have deeply shaped my work

and spiritual direction, revealing new layers of healing, insight, and guidance. Spirit teachers and presences began to appear more clearly, often through lucid dreams and inner visions.

Alongside my artistic work, I have spent last years working with

medicinal herbs, mushrooms and other plant allies. These natural teachers have supported both my physical healing and spiritual development. My studies in Buddhist meditation and philosophy, Mesoamerican Toltec traditions, herbalism, alchemy, and plant wisdom have been influenced by teachers such as HH XVI Karmapa, Star Weaver, Emma Farrell, Chris Hobbs, Sajah Popham, Carlos Castaneda, Ken Eagle Feather, Victor Sanchez, Don Miguel Ruiz and others.

One of the most significant insights the Medicine Wheel has revealed

to me is the use of Intent and form as a healing modality, something

I now call Artful Illumination. Through this practice, I have created over

a thousand drawings, each carrying a specific intention and meaning, leading to tangible and meaningful shifts.
